What R does at work

Help... Of course! What 4.5 month old can stuff a FedEx envelope and get the packing list in the plastic?

In the car

In the car we... Hook NiNi between our toes and snuggle and play with our Tiny Love car mobile

Lately...

Recently...

1. E has been on a "why" kick and not the letter Y. She is asking why about EVERYTHING. Why she has to do stuff, why this why that! Because I said so - that's my general answer with some nice fluff as bookends.

2. R went for a check up today and she is already at 14 lbs 9 oz mark! She did pretty well with her shots and otherwise is awesome

3. I went to put on my Anne Klein shoes and bam one side the heel is not flat. I take it off and inspect it and then again same problem. Is it possible that my toddler has destroyed my shoe during her dress up escapades?

I think I need to allow soccer shoes in bed...

E must have something on her feet when she sleeps so we rotate between bunny slippers, Robeez, Clifford slippers etc well I could not find an 'acceptable' option for nap this afternoon so I dug into the dress up clothes and pulled out these gems... Then when I woke E up I thought soccer shoes would be much more appropriate! I am sure my mom wishes that ballet slippers were at the end of my bed growing up.

In other news R has a fever and the sniffles...poor babe! They changed the fever reducing med dosage from E to R so once we got some of that sugary greatness into her she cooled down!

4:30... Is not playtime!

Oh little R has enjoyed waking me up in the late morning hours (3-5 am) to grab a little snack which I really don't have a problem with. Or if she wakes up in the 5:30-5:45 time slot that is great because I have an hour before E gets up. However... this morning R decided to eat at 4:30 then spit up half of what she ate - on me and the bed - fortunately for me none got on her so I did not have to do to a redress. So I get a new shirt and a towel for the bed. All the while E is in the middle of a dream and had been screaming out every 5 minutes for no reason. So I get back in bed and R is ready to play - with her insanely cute cheeky smile and bright eyes and I look at her and would love to play... just not at 4:30 so I don't put her back in the crib (as usual) and let her try and go to sleep in bed with me. Success... well kind of because I did not get up until 6:45 which left me slightly behind schedule for the day but what the heck its FRIDAY!

The Newly Ordained Deacon Joseph

Many more pics to come but here is one of the family and Bishop John. Sunday was great everything went off without a hitch. The girls behaved for Grammy and Jibbe while I took pictures. And Lee, well... Deacon Joseph did awesome! I guess it will take me a while to get used to Joseph but good thing he did not lose his nickname when he was ordained : )

Oh and a very Happy Father's Day too. I will have to post a pic of this but when Papa was prostrate during the Litany, E was saying in an audible tone - I love my Papa, so much, so much! Love her. Love R. Love my deacon. And love all the family and friends who came out for us!

May Monthly Update

May proved to be an insanely busy month at Swimworld for Lee. Which is good but the afternoon spent outside with Papa have been few and far between.

Mornings motivating me, myself and I - I mean - me, E and R are becoming routine. I have much better success if I bite the bullet and get up at 6 and get myself caffeinated and the bags prepared. R has night of sleep the night through which is awesome - though I have been staying up late to get work done. E likes to dress herself now and wants to help with R.

E has also enjoyed 'dumping' her crib but then she gets really upset when she does not have Nini. R has been sleeping in her crib for naps too which is awesome. We are on a semi-routine schedule with R at nights. Sleep training was a breeze with her. She cried a while the first couple nights and now hardly makes a peep.

A couple pics from Mother's Day... I will do a separate post on E's birthday!

One of E's new set of wheels. Helmet will be forthcoming!

Lee and I and R went to a wedding while E and Grammy went to the 'scary' choo-choo at Pullen. This wedding reminded me of a wedding we went to a month after E was born!

R holding her bottle! She has totally taken to the bottle which is great so she and Papa can have some time together. I am still nursing and have every intention of continuing!

 Ladybugs in the morning times.

E is not crazy about bath-tubbie time anymore for some reason - which is okay by me because showers are quicker. I cannot really figure out what happened but we fill up the tub and 'I don't like it' follows!
R is super big and can really hold her head up. She rolled over this month but would much prefer sitting up than being on her mat. She is talking and cooing alot and can really scream sometimes!
E and Papa washed cars one Sunday afternoon. New set of wheel numero dos from the birthday.

Not sure what to think about Papa washing the car!
R looking on - kicking her legs. I think she is going to LOVE totting around with E.
 Time to wash the cycle!
I have no idea? Quintessential R with hands in fists and feet kicking being very serious.

Overall May was great. E turned two. Her vocab is through the roof. Seriously there is nothing she cannot say. She loves reading and singing songs. Old McDonald had a Farm is a favorite car tune and Baby Bear What do you See and Big Red Barn are the books of the month - she has memorized parts of them and will randomly start - I see a Red Fox slipping at me, Blue Heron, Blue Heron what you see - I see a Red Fox slipping at me.

R turned three months - which is crazy. She has taken to bath time and is growing out of her 0-3 month clothes : (

MMO was closed for a week in May which turned my world upside down but we survived it!
