Fall Soccer 2024

We are just a few weeks into games DONE for this season but I went ahead and snapped a pic of the soccer players for the season. 6 kids. 6 teams. 3 practice nights. 2 teams are Coach Mama.

Logistically only possible because we live 3.75 minutes away from the field - for practices. Games haven’t gotten too hairy but we seem to manage.

Rs playing on the big field with the older girls. Defense is her thing.

This might be Ms last season on before she and R play together. A bunch of her friends are playing travel and we miss them terribly. She scored a gob of goals and ran all over the place when her head was in the right place.

A discovered that he might be a really good goalie. He has got a great point and staying in the goal keeps him focused and not running ALL over the place.

Lady C had a fun go with a great group with many friends from last season. If C could tone down the drama and get into the right mindset - she could score lots of goals or stop alot.

J FINALLY got soccer this year. Finally. It took being the oldest on the team. He had a really fun season with a kick of confidence to get his first goal ever.

H was super into practice and not super into games - especially weeding the jersey. We are hopeful for future seasons.

I got back into coaching for the first time since the twins. I couldn’t let Js last 3-4 season go without coaching him. I gave coaching both J and H teams at the same time a go and realized that was terrible idea after one practice. The boys were the usually rugby player running all over the place. The girls were really sweet and I think I was a little over confident in their abilities going into the games but we had a fun run.

Two Kibbes were picked for All Stars - which extended the ever coveted end of soccer season - by two weeks. We happily carted them around for another three days a week for practice.

The 10u and 12u girl teams had different runs in the tournament but we were so happy and excited to be there because soccer is the best

Especially when you have a sibling (or eight) cheering you on
