Hmmm... Oh R

So recently - as in the past two or three nights - R will not let me leave her side at night. Seriously she must be held or have me in bed with her to be asleep. Not that this is a major problem but I would like to work on her stocking some nights and I literally cannot but as soon as I tiptoe out of the room- bam - screams. So I am trying to enjoy going to bed earlier and just focus on snuggling her - rather than what I want to do. Sacrifice is definitely a major part of having kids and putting their needs above mine can be challenging - especially the needs of a newborn. Life's biggest lessons are in the details and taught by some really small little people.
