WWRW - Volume 7

Team Captain

Yet another NT Wright... and a little book on ethics to mix things up.

Since it is the winter I imagine Papa is averaging 4-6 books a week. I promise a tour of his library soon

MOI

I have not been reading a book lately... Oppps. but I have been reading a number of blogs. Next year our family is bound to have a Jesse Tree for Advent. On a completely different subject I found these blog posts particularly interesting especially given the fact I can count in the double digits how many woman I know who are pregnant. The posts are worth a read - whether you agree with them or not, not that I agree wholeheartedly with them either - some legitimate points are raised about the challenges of motherhood and good tips for overcoming the challenges...

Why Most Families Have 2 Children.

Most interesting line - "I've never met a woman who wished they didn't have so many {kids}."

Desperate Housewives–No Laughing Matter: Why Young Mothers Don’t Need God, They Need Help

Thing I should remember - "A gentle word is much more likely to turn away wrath.  A hug works wonders as well. "

E

This has been E's book of choice. It is a quicky so sometimes I wish she'd pick out Green Eggs and Ham or something but whatever...

R

This book is just silly and R calls in 'Boom Boom' and only stays to read about half of it... which really annoys me because she drags it around and shouts "Reeead at, Reeead at!" - and I do mean shouts. Then we sit down to read and we don't make it past skinned-knee D!!!

M

Not into the book scene quite yet....

Got any other suggestions? I could totally get into this link up because I REALLY SHOULD READ MORE!!!!
