WWRW - Volume 6

I have been reading a lot of posts about Advent recently and what people and their families do for Advent. Reading happens to be on a number of people's lists. I am a bit behind in that department so I'll post some books I hope to read for Advent next year...

For Adults

St. Nicholas may or may not be bringing this book for Papa on Thursday. And Papa may or may not already know this because St. Nicholas got it through Amazon and Papa gets all the shipment/order info... Whoops!

Anyway The Winter Pascha is written by the same author who wrote the Lenten Spring. Papa really enjoyed that book so I am thinking this one will be a hit!

I have also noticed that many families have a Jesse Tree at their house for Advent... I am feeling way left out so we'll have to get on the Jesse Tree train for next Advent. Looks like this book is a good place to start.

I don't know very much about Jesse Trees and as I have mentioned before I am one of the least crafty people you'll meet so there better be some super crafty instructions to follow

For Kids

And there are 100 million books for kids that explain Christmas and the true importance of Christmas - not the lights and the presents and all that jazz. I read about this one and it looks like a keeper...

Any other kids books we should add to the biblioteca (library : )

  1. Oh, is that the 24 Stories from the Magnificat catalog? It does look like a keeper!
